(INDIGNANT HUFFING) NOT ALL M……ale lions

the more i think about it, the weirder this comment seems. how does this man know that being a male lion is more stressful than being a female lion. has he lived as both a female and male lion before. is this man an Animorph

I

male lions rights activist

as a big cat fanatic and a zoo veteran:
male lions are lazy fucks. they CHOOSE to fight cos they’re BORED.

As a professional Ethologist who specializes in apex predator and primate behavior, I can fully support this lazy lion notion.See this gorgeous guy?
This is Zero, the most photographed lion in National Geographic history (so I’ve been told). While his huge frame and two-toned mane make him an intimidating sight, he is essentially the biggest baby I observed while in South Africa.
You would hear these deep roaring moans echo across the reserve… and it was Zero, whining for the girls (Maggie and Lisa) to bring him food. The lazy bum would just roll around in the river bed moaning and groaning until the females would show up with a kill.
Sure, he could fight if there happened to be a rival male in the area. And his ‘mock charge’ display was intimidating enough to keep just about everyone* out of his way… but 99% of the time this guy was all about moaning (for food), mating, and mane-flips.
* - The only animal not run off by Zero’s display was a honey badger, who - true to form - did not care.

The most perfect description of Sarah Palin I’ve ever seen O.O;

A seagull lands on a sailor’s hat and takes a sip of his coffee. The sneaky bird perches on the head of Norwegian tour guide Ole Martin Dahle then dips its beak into his mug for a morning caffeine fix. The seagull was photographed by 55 year old professional photographer Andrew Astbury, whilst on a week-long trip in the county of Nord-Trondelag in Norway.

I’m in mutuals with a lot of people I’ve never spoken to and if that’s you then I just want you to know that I’ve definitely thought about talking to you at one point and then got scared

Actually, I think the kid is playing Minecraft. Which is essentially digital Legos.
Two generations of creative people, just different methods of expression. Let’s not shit on the digital age as much, ‘eh?

You know what’s great about Minecraft?
You don’t get lacerations from stepping on it.

You know what’s great about legos?Your shit doesn’t get blown up because a green penis snuck up on you.

The bedstraw hawk-moth (Hyles gallii) is a member of the sphinx moth family, whose members are capable of speedy, skillful flying and sustained hovering. This species has spectacularly patterned wings, but when it hovers all you see is an adorably fuzzy body and a huuuuge tongue.
